Annette Walters started dancing at a very young age. Her teaching career began in 1982 under the direction of Susan Ian as a teacher’s assistant and has been teaching for over 30 years. Annette teaches all ages and genres of dance, focussing primarily on ballet. She holds her intermediate Teaching Certificate in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet and continues her education by attending conferences and workshops each year. Annette danced professionally with the CFL Baltimore Stallions for two seasons and holds a certificate in PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique) which was developed by Marie Walton-Mahon of Australia. Annette loves to see her choreography on stage at recitals as well as in regional and national dance competitions where her students have won numerous awards. Being able to give those she teaches the confidence and grace to do better in each class and enjoy the artistry of dance fills her with great joy.
